Charlie Brown Cafe

Charlie Brown Cafe - My favoritest place in Hong Kong. My wonderful boyfriend, Rory, took me there for Valentine's Day... and spoiled me with yummy yummy treats! I love Asia for their fun, novelty ideas, that really wouldn't work anywhere else in the world. I'm a sucker for Peanuts :)

Charlie Cappuccino :)

The cafe is covered in Charlie Brown paraphernalia, tables, light fixtures, figurines, you name it... they've got it, Peanut styles. The menu has great options for lunch and dinner, coffees and cakes. If you're ever in Hong Kong, check it out... heres the website, most of it is in Chinese, but they have images and the address is there too.

So I watched a cult film from 1967 called "Valley of the Dolls", and it definitely exceeded expectations. It starts a little slow, but the colours, imagery and characters are interesting, and the storyline is fun, and completely relevant to the era.

Its about a young actress finding fame in the film industry and losing herself to drugs. She struggles with relationships and addictions, to the point of no control. I loved Sharon Tate's character.. shes just stunning!

"I can't go a day without a doll.."

After watching this film I'm inspired to make a line of 60s inspired dresses. I wish I lived in this era, just for the clothes and makeup.

..Can't wait to read the book!!! :D
